Many of the lots are large, but hillside in nature with only enough flat land for a pool, lawn area and occasional cantilevered tennis count.

Move up into the canyons to Bel Air

Bel Air and Holmby Hills are two areas almost as well known for prestige as Beverly Hills. In fact, many celebrities, wealthy developers and entrepreneurs have opted for Bel Air. Bel Air is rich in landscape, trees and hillsides. Homes near the Bel Air Country Club and Golf Course through the East Gate just west of Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills are rare to find below $3,000,000. Homes higher in the hills along Roscomare Canyon, Stradella and off of Mulhulland may be priced lower and more affordable. Click for a selection of homes available.

Adjacent to Santa Monica and more inland is Brentwood

Brentwood is a wonderful location adjacent to Santa Monica, but inland, closer to Westwood.
