Previews: Million Dollar Sales Statistics

The sales volume of million-dollar residential properties sold through Coldwell Banker in 1996 was up 28% across the United States according to statistics released by George Pelton, National Director of Previews. Through year end 1996, two and one half years after the Previews Program was revitalized and re-introduced, Coldwell Banker has enjoyed an increase of more than 113% in sales volume for million dollar or higher priced properties.

In 1996 Coldwell Banker was involved in the sale of 1238 properties valued at one million dollars or more. The price range of million-dollar properties sold, reached from properties priced at $1 million or more in 35 different states, to the sale of Pacific Reflections, a $16.5 million ocean front residence in Laguna Beach California. The total sales volume for million dollar or higher priced properties in 1996 was $1.93 Billion.

No other real estate company in the world sells more residential properties in the million dollar price range.
