Knowledge is power

Buyers, do not be overly confident just because the Internet provides you information and access to listings instantaneously! You still need a skilled team of professionals to lead you toward your desired goal. The problem, however, is how to find the right people.

Unfortunately, more often than not, buyers make their connections with a realtor and mortgage broker by walking in cold to an open house or calling blindly on an ad. The next thing you know, buyers are trusting a total stranger with one of the most important investments and biggest transactions they will ever make in their life. Buyers need to interview an agent the same way a seller does, to get a sense of how the chemistry is going to mix. Buyers need to have confidence in the person that is going to represent them. It is important you like that person, trust that person, and believe in his/her knowledge. Ask for references, make some phone calls and get a sense of how well that agent listens to you. There are many qualified, successful agents, but some just do not listen.

Part of Ron Wynn’s philosophy is “Specialize, specialize, specialize!” When you want the best possible representation, call a specialist. If you have a sports injury, you call an orthopedist who specializes in sports injuries, not just any orthopedist who doesn’t possess the expertise to take care of your injury. Ron has specialized in the following neighborhoods for over thirty years: Westwood/Rancho Park, Beverlywood, Mar Vista, Culver City, Cheviot Hills, Brentwood, and Santa Monica.
